- Passenger and freight transport in terms of passenger-kilometres
and tonne-kilometres
In 2022, the number of passengers carried in terms of passenger-
kilometres was 1,391,895 thousand pkm, an increase of 2 times against the
previous year. In 2022, the freight transport in terms of tonne-kilometres
was 830,895 thousand tkm, a year-on-year increase of 24.06%.
7.3. Price index
a) Consumer Price index
The average consumer price index (CPI) in 2022 increased by 4.13%
compared to that in 2021, an average monthly CPI rose by 0.46% (of
which, the urban and rural areas increased by 5.43% and 3.36%,
respectively). Consumer prices in the months of the year fluctuated
mainly due to the impacts of prices of food, foodstuff, gasoline,
petroleum oil, construction materials,... of which, the increasing price of
some commodity groups greatly affected the general price index,
particularly as follows: the price of the transport group rose by 14.37%
due to a rise in the prices of gasoline, petroleum oil; the price of housing,
electricity; water, fuel and construction materials soared by 9.65%
mainly caused by an expansion in the price of gas, kerosene, iron and
steel; the price of beverage and cigarettes increased by 3.91%; the price
of food and food services added up 2.63% due to a rise in the price of
food, foodstuff and eating out services; other goods and services surged
up 2.79% due to a soar in the price of gold; garment, hat, and footwear
expanded by 1.74%; household appliance, post and communication,
education, culture, entertainment and tourism added up less than 1%.
b) Gold and USD price index
- The average gold price index increased by 2.41% compared to that
in 2021.
- The average USD price index rose by 2.14% against that in 2021.
