Vocational education: In 2022, the total number of newly enrolled
vocational trainees reached 16,637 persons (reaching 103.98% in
comparison with plan). Specifically, college level: 583 trainees,
secondary level: 602 trainees, short-term training: 6,701 trainees,
vocational training for less than 3 months: 8,751 trainees. The total
number of graduates was 14,834 persons. Specifically, college level: 295
trainees, secondary level: 161 trainees, short-term training: 5,945
trainees, vocational training for less than 3 months: 8,433 trainees.
8.3. Health
In 2022, health sector focused on preventive healthcare and food
hygiene. The authorities actively imposed infectious diseases prevention
measures in general and COVID-19 in particular. Information technology
in medical examination and treatment and people's health management
was applied. The authorities must ensure enough drugs, medical
equipment, testing biological products for disease prevention and control.
The authorities continued its effort to improve quality of medical
examination and treatment services and adopted measures to improve
patient satisfaction across the province.
8.4. Culture, sports and communication
In 2022, cultural, sports and tourism activities were joyfully
organized with taking into account of safety and economically expenses.
An exciting atmosphere was created in order to fulfill the provincial
socio-economic development goals.
Much attention was paid to national cultural heritage protection
and promotion. In 2022, 02 revolutionary historical relics were
submitted for recognition; 03 projects to preserve and promote the
value of national intangible cultural heritage were approved; 82
agencies, units and enterprises were awarded cultural standards in the
05-year period 2017-2021.
Art performances: The authorities organized performances to
celebrate the Chol Chnam Thmay New Year festival, public arts
