Gross domestic product per capita at current prices in 2023 was
estimated at 60,138 thousand VND (an increase of 5,199 thousand VND
compared to that in 2022).

3. Price index

- The average consumer price index in 2023 increased by 3.33%
compared to that in 2022 (of which, urban and rural areas increased by
3.91% and 2.99%, respectively), with an average monthly increase of

0.31% (of which, the increase 6.01% in the price of other goods and
services and 5.28% in the catering services had strong impact on the
overall price index). The fluctuation in the consumer price index
(increase/decrease) in the months of 2023 was mainly caused by the
increase/decrease in prices of the food and catering services group which
accounted for a large proportion in the number of items in the goods
basket; in addition, during the year, the price of precious metals and

some services such as health insurance increased in accordance with the
basic salary, etc.

- On average in 2023, gold price index increased by 5.58%
compared to the average index in 2022.

- Average USD price index in 2023 increased by 1.92% compared to
that in 2022. The USD price witnessed a slight fluctuation during the year.

4. Development investment and construction

4.1. Investment capital
The realized investment capital in 2023 experienced a decrease
compared to that in the previous year, a sharp reduction in the value of
