entered the market and 20 enterprises withdrew from the market each
month, the average capital ratio of 01 newly established enterprise was
about 6.8 billion VND (up 19% over that in the same period). The
decrease in the number of newly established enterprises and the

relatively high increase in the number of temporarily suspended
enterprises show that in 2023, production and business activities of
enterprises still faced many difficulties and challenges, many enterprises
chose to operate at a standstill or found ways to maintain operations.

6. Agriculture, forestry and fishery
6.1. Agriculture

6.1.1. Crops production

In the first months of 2023, the province's agricultural, forestry and
fishery production faced difficulties due to the impact of climate change,

complicated weather developments, increased prices of agricultural and
aquatic materials and low product prices, etc. In the last months of the
year 2023, production conditions were favorable, and the results of crops
production and harvesting some crops, livestock, and fishery showed a
positive signal.

The annual crops production area reached 377,433 hectares
(excluding the 2023-2024 summer-autumn rice production area and the
2023-2024 winter-spring rice production area), a decline of 0.66%,

compared to that in the previous year, an equal to 2,502 hectares; of
which, the rice production area reached 330,381 hectares, a year-on-year
shrink of 0.72% and 2,386 hectares; the other annual crops area was
47,047 hectares, made up 12.47% of the total crops production area, a
year-on-year decline of 0.26% and 121 hectares (the crops production
area of some major annual crops reached 35,658 hectares, a decline of

0.13% and 46 hectares).
Fruit production in the province was developed in the direction of

planning specialized areas for high-quality fruits for export, linking
