                        VND,  an  expansion  of  49.51%).  The  gross  retail  sales  of  goods  and
                        services in 2023 witnessed a robust increase compared to that in 2022
                        due to the following factors: (1) low turnover in the retail sales of goods

                        and  services  in  2022;  (2)  increasing  demand  for  consumption  and
                        recreation during Tet holidays; (3) the impacts of rising prices of some
                        food,  foodstuffs,  gasoline,  petroleum  oil,  precious  metals,  construction
                        materials, etc.

                             -  Out  of  12  essential  commodity  groups,  the  food  and  foodstuff
                        group  climbed  up  16.34%  (mainly  due  to  an  increase  in  consumption
                        demands  and  rising  prices  of  some  food  and  foodstuff);  the  garment;
                        household appliances and equipment such as air conditioners, fans, etc.

                        jumped up 13.43% and 22.55%, respectively. Gasoline and petroleum oil
                        of  all  kinds  edged  up  17.56%  due  to  the  rising  prices  of  gasoline  and
                        petroleum oil;...

                             -  The  turnover  from  accommodation,  eating  out  and  traveling
                        activities  in  2023  reached  19,015  billion  VND,  an  increase  of  38.96%
                        compared  to  that  in  2022  (of  which,  turnover  from  accommodation
                        service  gained  188  billion  VND,  a  rise  of  57.98%;  catering  services
                        achieved  18,794  billion  VND,  an  expansion  of  38.77%;  travelling

                        turnover was 33 billion VND, an upturn of 49.30%).
                             - Service turnover in 2023 attained 12,693 billion VND, a soar of
                        49.51% compared to that in 2022 (due to low turnover of service group

                        in 2022 and its recovery in 2023).

                             8.2. Export and import
                             Import  and  export  activities  in  2023  experienced  a  decrease

                        compared to that in 2022. The export turnover in 2023 reached 1,500
                        million  USD,  gaining  100%  of  the  plan,  a  reduction  of  1.06%
                        compared  to  that  in  2022;  of  which,  seafood  export  reached  925
                        million USD, reaching 80.43% of the plan, a decline of 11.14%, rice
                        export  gained  450  million  USD,  a  jump  of  33.93%,  garment  export
