FOREWORDS

In order to meet the demand of researching socio-economic

situation in area, Soc Trang Statistics Office compiled and issued
“Soc Trang Statistical Yearbook 2023”.

This is a publication annually published and compiled in bilingual:
Vietnamese - English, under the unified format of the General Statistics
Office. Its content includes data of the years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022
and 2023, of which the data of 2022 backward are official; data of 2023
is priliminary.

In case of data change in comparison with the statistical yearbooks
released in the past, it is recommended that statistical data users should

use the data in this yearbook.

We are sincerely thanksful for the cooperation in compiling and
